HINC is structured enough to keep the meeting productive, but the atmosphere is genuinely relaxed and welcoming. We meet over breakfast at Shoney’s, and HINC even covers the coffee. It’s organized and efficient—without the stiff, overly formal feel many networking groups have.
How long does it usually take to see results?
Many members begin building meaningful connections within their first few visits. Referrals and partnerships typically grow as relationships deepen over time. Like any strong network, the more consistently you show up and engage, the faster you tend to see momentum.
Do I need to bring anything or be prepared to speak?
Just bring business cards and be ready to briefly introduce yourself. Visitors are typically invited to give a short introduction, but nothing formal or high-pressure. If you can clearly share who you help and what you do, you’ll be well prepared.
What’s the membership cost and what’s included?
The membership application fee is $50, and monthly dues are $25. HINC is committed to delivering strong value at every opportunity, including online mini-courses to help you maximize your networking results and low- to no-cost marketing best practices. Members also enjoy complimentary coffee at every meeting.
What if my industry is already represented?
HINC works to maintain a strong balance of industries to protect member value. If your category is currently filled, you’re still welcome to visit. In some cases, opportunities open as the group grows, and we’re always happy to discuss the best path forward for your business.
Am I going to get pitched the whole time?
No. We don’t hard sell the group, and members don’t hard pitch their services. If you’re interested in learning more about joining, we’re happy to talk. Otherwise, just come enjoy meeting good people and building real connections.
